Food and cuisine are an important part of a company’s culture and history. The Food Tour is designed precisely to learn more about the culture of Siena by tasting the typical products. Our guide will take you on a series of tastings in the typical restaurants of the center, after having explained to you in detail each dish rich in history and curiosity. The first stop of the tour will be represented by the appetizer: cold cuts and typical cheeses paired with a small glass of wine. Following a taste of truffle, the famous tuber that drives many enthusiasts crazy (the most famous ones from the Crete Senesi). Then it will be the turn of a series of first courses at a typical tavern where, with the changing of the seasons, it will be possible to taste a panzanella, pici with bricioli or pappa al pomodoro (a Sienese variant) and pici with garlic. The tour will end in a very “sweet” way, tasting the typical Sienese sweets: cantucci, panforte and ricciarelli accompanied by a glass of Vin Santo. Siena has never been so delicious.
